DEPOSITS
MINIMUM PAYMENTS
With regard to all appointment requests, a non-refundable deposit is required to finalize scheduling. The deposit amount will be applied toward the total balance on the day of service.
Please note that all deposit transactions are final and non-refundable. In the event a change in scheduling is requested, the original deposit may be transferred, provided that the request is communicated to Studio MDH via text message at least two business days prior to the scheduled service date.
Requests for appointment changes submitted after this timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the original appointment and deposit. A new non-refundable deposit will be required in order to schedule a new appointment.
At Studio MDH, we value both our clients’ time and the expertise of our Stylists. To ensure that service slots are reserved and utilized appropriately, minimum payment requirements apply depending on the Stylist and the type of appointment scheduled. Gratuity is never included in the service total or minimum payment requirements and is left to the discretion of the client.
For services booked with Miguel, the minimum payment for smaller service slots is set at two hundred dollars ($200). These smaller service slots are designed for services such as haircuts, face frame highlights, or full single process colors. Larger service slots reserved with Miguel require a minimum payment of five hundred forty dollars ($540). These full service slots are reserved for more time-intensive services including partial or full highlights, extension installations, and other advanced color or technical services.
For services booked with our Master Stylists, the minimum payment for smaller service slots is one hundred dollars ($100). Larger service slots with a Master Stylist require a minimum payment of four hundred dollars ($400).
Clients may choose to combine multiple smaller services within a single appointment; however, the established minimum payment for the reserved slot will always apply. This policy allows us to manage our scheduling effectively and ensures that each stylist’s time is valued appropriately, while also providing our clients with clear expectations when reserving their appointments.

Regarding all confirmed appointments, respectfully, we ask that any schedule changes be communicated to Studio MDH via text message at a minimum of 2 business days prior to the scheduled date of service.
Appointment change requests submitted after the specified timeframe will result in a forfeiture of the original appointment and deposit. A new non-refundable deposit will need to be submitted to schedule a new appointment.
LATE ARRIVALS
No-show
In relation to late arrivals, a 15-minute grace period will be permitted as a courtesy for unforeseen delays. If arriving past the specified timeframe, the client risks forfeiture of the scheduled appointment along with any deposit submitted.
Consequently, a new non-refundable deposit will be required to schedule a new appointment.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, missed appointments have a significant impact on our Stylists’ schedules and availability for other clients. For this reason, any client who does not attend a confirmed appointment without providing sufficient notice (please refer to our cancellation policy) will be required to pay fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service total in order to reschedule. This policy allows us to respect the time of our team while maintaining fairness and availability for all clients seeking appointments.
NO CHILDREN
As a courtesy to all clients and for the safety of children, Studio MDH does not permit individuals under the age of thirteen to enter the salon. Our priority is to maintain a serene, hazard-free, and tranquil environment where every guest can enjoy their experience without disruption or safety concerns.
Clients who arrive for a scheduled service accompanied by a child under the age of thirteen will have their appointment canceled. In such cases, any deposit submitted will be forfeited, and the client will be held responsible for fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service total. A new non-refundable deposit will also be required in order to reserve a future appointment.
This policy is in place to ensure the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of all guests while respecting the professional environment of our Stylists.
